Arcona uses resin infusion to create a light, strong hull and deck comprised of multiaxial rovings and vinylester resin with a Divinycell core. A galvanized steel framework in the base of the hull carries the loads generated by the rig and keel. All bulkheads are laminated to the hull and deck. The keel is a lead bulb bolted onto an epoxy-coated cast-iron fin. The keel-stepped mast is by Seldén. Standing rigging is wire.
A nearly plumb bow and a fairly abrupt reverse transom both look sharp and maximize the boat’s sailing length. End-boom sheeting with traveler and mainsheet controls immediately forward of the helm—right where they belong—show this is a boat that means business on the racecourse.
This is quite simply a nice boat, a sailor’s boat. Its quality construction, styling and many practical seagoing design features result in a smart and make for a fast, comfortable ride underway.

Central de generación de energía térmica mixta (vapor y aceite térmico). Estos equipos son el corazón de la planta, suministrando el calor necesario y constante para operar eficientemente los secadores y las prensas hidráulicas.
El operario alimenta el sistema con las chapas desenrolladas, distribuyéndolas en los niveles de transporte de la máquina. Este equipo, mediante un sistema de transferencia de calor, reduce el porcentaje de humedad de la madera hasta el nivel óptimo de encolado, estabilizando la fibra antes del armado.
El pino es una especie proveniente de cultivos, lo que garantiza su disponibilidad sostenible. Se caracteriza por ser una madera liviana, fácil de trabajar y ampliamente utilizada en carpintería y construcción debido a su excelente acabado.
Encargada del dimensionado inicial de las chapas provenientes del torno. Mediante cortes de precisión, elimina irregularidades y escuadra el material interior, garantizando bordes parejos y medidas estandarizadas para el armado.
Equipo de recuperación y empalme. Se utiliza para unir longitudinalmente las chapas que presentan fracturas o dimensiones menores, cosiéndolas con hilo termoplástico o adhesivo para formar hojas continuas y maximizar el aprovechamiento de la materia prima.
Esta etapa inicia con la recepción de la troza en bruto proveniente de Buenaventura. Una vez en la planta, la madera ingresa al Torno, donde se realiza el proceso de desenrollado (o debobinado). De esta transformación mecánica se obtienen dos productos principales: las chapas (láminas delgadas) y el material interior, insumos fundamentales para la posterior fabricación de la lámina de triplex/contrachapado.
Estación de prensado hidráulico en caliente. Aquí se consolidan los 'paquetes' de chapas encoladas aplicando alta presión y temperatura. Esta planta cuenta con una capacidad de producción de 400 láminas diarias, asegurando un pegado estructural indeformable.
Gracias a un proceso especializado, es resistente a la humedad, plagas y hongos, lo que la convierte en una excelente opción para proyectos agrícolas y ganaderos, optimizando costos a largo plazo.
Importado principalmente desde Chile, el pino radiata es madera aserrada, cultivada y secada en horno, lo que ofrece un excelente acabado para carpintería, construcción y proyectos arquitectónicos. Para garantizar su durabilidad, se recomienda inmunizar la madera.
